The 20th Season of Music without Borders International Piano Festival presents its first public piano recital tonight, Tuesday, July 7th, with the solo recital of Ruslan Ermakov, a rising senior at West Islip High School, Long Island. Ruslan is attending his fourth festival. His program will include works by Schubert, Chopin and Rachmaninov.

 

Young Pianist Michael Bostock, just returned from his first year of conservatory study in Manchester, England, joins the festival tomorrow, when the second recital will be held in air-conditioned Trustees Auditorium of the McLaughlin Science Center.

Music without Borders International Piano Festival returns to the Gould Academy campus in Bethel for its 20th season, July 5--25, 2026.  The opening recital is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7. Recitals will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, July 7 through July 25.  All recitals are free and begin at 7 p.m. in air-conditioned Trustees Auditorium of the McLaughlin Science Center on the Gould campus.  No reservations necessary, but seating is limited.
